Through gravity analysis over Kenya Block 11A the contracting parties identified two basins in the block, Anam to the west (1,600skm) and Tarach to the east (2,500 skm). The seismic interpretation was done on Tarach Basin first since it has similar structure to the Lokichar Basin (1,700 skm), the closest producing basin located 200 km SE of the Block 11A. The first well (Tarach #1) is planned to be drill in Tarach Basin during the Q 1st of 2016. The seismic interpretation in Anam Basin will start by the Q 3rd of this year.
