Hello,
ERHC Energy is in the midst of an exciting period and we want to make sure you are up to date on Company announcements and activities. For those who were unable to join us for the Annual Shareholders Meeting a couple weeks ago in Houston, we offer a number of reports and updates stemming from the meeting.
The Company's new Chief Operating Officer and acting CEO/President, Peter Ntephe, presided over the meeting. Mr. Ntephe has served as the Corporate Secretary of ERHC since 2001. At the meeting, the Company announced that Nicolae Luca, who had served as director since 2001 and as acting CEO/President since 2006, had resigned to pursue other interests. We thank Mr. Luca for his tireless service to the Company during the past seven years and wish him well in his future endeavors.
 Shareholders voted overwhelmingly to re-elect directors (pictured left to right) Clement Nwizubo, Dr. Andrew Uzoigwe and Howard Jeter. Each will serve a term that expires at the next Annual Meeting. You can click here to listen to a replay of the meeting and view the management presentation.
During the past few weeks the Company has also welcomed David Bovell to the newly created position of Vice President Corporate Development. Mr. Bovell sat for an interview that you can find below in which he discusses his objectives and expectations.
